Family-Owned
Real Berber family, real local roots. When you travel with us, you're traveling with people who actually live here.
We're not a faceless travel company. We're a family who grew up between the dunes and the Atlas — and we've turned our grandfathers' caravans into a way of welcoming the world.
Our grandfathers guided caravans across the Sahara long before maps existed. They knew every dune, every well, every star. We grew up listening to their stories — and turned them into a way of welcoming the world.
In 2008, we founded Sahara Nomad as a small family business in Marrakech. What started as a single 4×4 and one desert camp has grown into a team of local guides, drivers, cooks, and camp hosts across Morocco — but the spirit stayed the same.
We don't sell tours. We share Morocco — the real one, the one you only find when a Berber family invites you in for mint tea after a long day on the road.
Six reasons travelers from 80+ countries choose Sahara Nomad again and again.
